DevOps Engineer - AWS - Remote/Hybrid at Hunter Bond

Job Descrption
Salary: Up to £150,000 + Bonus
Working Arrangement: Hybrid
We are currently recruiting for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a leading macro trading organization based in London. This is a fantastic opportunity to work at the forefront of financial technology, supporting complex trading operations through cutting-edge infrastructure and automation tools.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure on AWS to support trading platforms.
Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters, ensuring high availability and performance.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline code deployment and improve development workflows.
Automate infrastructure and application processes, enhancing efficiency and reducing downtime.
Collaborate closely with development and trading teams to support new features and updates.
Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure reliability and uptime.
Tech... Stack:
Cloud: AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.)
Containerization: Kubernetes (EKS preferred)
Automation & CI/CD: Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar tools
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent
Scripting: Python, Bash, or similar
Key Skills & Experience:
Extensive experience working with AWS cloud infrastructure.
Strong expertise in Kubernetes, with a proven track record of managing large-scale clusters.
Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
Proficient in automation and infrastructure as code practices.
Experience in a financial services or trading environment is highly advantageous.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to optimizing systems.
