Our client is one of the country’s leading hedge funds - A global leading in trading strategies, financila technology and predictive analytics research.
In their central London office, they’re looking to hire an experienced Infrastructure Support Engineer.
You’ll have the chance to take the lead across the infrastructure, Azure Cloud and network design, implementation and support of multiple offices across the country and build a team around you.
Reporting directly to the CTO, you’ll have the opportunity to grow your team and work across networking and security, servers and Cloud and drive the use of automation, containers, and DevOps and build a true IaaS / PaaS environment – An excellent challenge!
Requirements:
• Proven infrastructure experience - Support and engineering
• Great server / platform experience (Windows, Linux)
• Good Azure cloud experience
• Experience of on-prem to Cloud migrations is ideal
• Great Networking skills –... Routing and Switching, Firewalls etc
• Experience of containers (Kubernetes, Docker etc)
• Automation and Infrastructure as Code knowledge (Terraform, Ansible etc)
• Experience of leading others and work - Being the lead on projects and the “go to” engineer
