The Company:
This will be the companies second concept opening in London (established Internationally) The concept is a cool premium casual dining smashed burger concept, offering a short-listed menu of mouth-watering items prepared with the best ingredients.
the opportunity could also suit an experienced assistant manager looking for a step up
Role Details:
Exciting opportunity for a restaurant manager to oversee a new exciting QSR concept with an established international food and beverage company - with an additional London site this will be their second London opening
You will be a hands-on manager, leading your team and working with them on the line and on the floor with customers. A solid experience in QSR and burgers is required.
You will be required to travel to Kuwait to familiarize your self with... the company and concept (exact dates tbc) to receive full training with our team there, before coming back to prepare for the grand opening in December!
About you
Passionate and talented manager with an experience in QSR environment, especially with burgers - Have an outgoing personality and genuinely enjoy talking to customers -
Knowledge of cooking equipment used in QSR environment -
Responsibilities will include:
- Run smooth day to day operations, back office and employees -
Ensure daily and monthly budgets and sales targets are met -
Back-office duties including stock control and perform monthly stock take, weekly rotas, manage POS system etc -
Welcome and deal with customers by delivering exceptional customer service and ensure your staff does the same - Deal with customer complaints -
Hands on manager working with the team on the line and on the floor with customers - Ensure the cleanliness of the store, managing the cleaning schedule to keep the store clean and tidy - Ensure that company’s standards and UK food safety procedures and regulations are followed (keep up to date HACCP, allergen book, staff handbook, records and documents required for Food Safety inspection etc.)
Recruit front and back of house staff - Induction and training of all new staff. Regular and on-going training of staff - Supervise food and drink production and ensure that all employees follow company’s standards - Produce cost calculations and pricing for all new items for Management to authorise - Work with Management in developing financial, budgetary plans and reviewing P&L reports -
Provide Management with monthly inventory forecast including all suppliers and place orders when needed - Responsibility for local Authority Food Safety Inspections, to maintain a 5-star rating
Hours: Operating hours planned are 11am to 11pm, 7 days a week and bank holidays so flexibility and availability to work all shifts is essential.
5 Days per week based on 45 hours per week
Applicants must be fluent in English, be eligible to work in the UK, be able to provide two current work references and have a minimum 3-year experience in similar environments.
