Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Head Chef to lead our culinary team in a bustling restaurant setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation, kitchen management, and hospitality.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff, ensuring smooth operations
- Oversee food production, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation
- Create and develop innovative menus in line with seasonal ingredients
- Train and mentor kitchen staff on culinary techniques and best practices
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for ingredients and supplies
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards
Experience
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or similar leadership role in a busy kitchen environment
- Strong culinary skills with a creative flair for menu development
- Excellent knowledge of kitchen operations, including food preparation techniques
- Leadership abilities to motivate and guide the kitchen team... towards excellence
- Qualifications in hospitality or culinary arts are advantageous but not essential
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £30,000.00-£33,000.00 per year
