Air Culinaire Worldwide are looking for a kitchen assistant to join the team as soon as possible to be part of the team at The Landing Hotel. The Hotel is an independent boutique 56 bed hotel that is proudly dedicated to the aviation industry, whilst supporting local businesses and our community. Located at London Biggin Hill Airport and set to the side of runway 03, the hotel offers great views towards London.

Facilities comprise of a stylish bar & restaurant offering fabulous dining experiences with breakfast, brunch, afternoon tea and evening dining all being served daily. The kitchen will also provide bespoke catering for the private jet crew and passengers at Biggin Hill Airport.

What are we looking for?

An enthusiastic team member that can bring a positive attitude to teamwork on shift and around the business whilst contributing to the smooth running of the hotel and aviation kitchen. The right candidate will be a good communicator with good interpersonal skills, A strong... attention to detail and also time management.

Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure that all kitchen areas, equipment, crockery, and cutlery are kept clean at all times.
• Ensure that all sinks, food storage areas, including fridges and freezers are kept clean.
• Ensure all items are thoroughly cleaned and dried before returning to storage areas.
• Ensure all work surfaces are cleaned thoroughly before and after food preparation.
• Carry out basic food preparation as required.
• Ensure hand washing facilities are clean and stocked up before and during session.
• Understand and implement company food labelling policy.
• Act as a runner for chefs to ensure that all products are at hand during service.
• Occasional kitchen laundry responsibilities.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £9.50-£11.44 per hour

Experience:
• Kitchen experience: 1 year (required)
