Location: London- Park Royal NW10 7NZ
Working hours: This job involves working weekdays and/or weekends (8:00am-6:00pm). Minimum 20hours contract - up to 40 hour a week when busy.
Job purpose: As a Warehouse Operative Assistant, you will be assisting the Warehouse Manager and the supervisor by maintaining warehouse standards by organizing all our products, labelling and sorting out deliveries.
Role and Responsibilities:
• You will be working with Japanese imported goods and suppliers, so Japanese language skill is a MUST
• Receive, check, replenish, organise and rotate products within the warehouse, which involve manual handling that require that require lifting up to 40kg, bending stretching and carrying.
• Picking orders
• Complete stocktaking activities on a periodic basis
• You may be required to carry out other safe and reasonable requests from your Manager or Supervisor.
• We will provide training commensurate with the tasks you are asked to complete.
•... This role requires you to stand for your whole shift (excluding breaks).
• Manual Handling: this job requires you to lift, bend and stretch.
Essential skills:
• Ability to lift heavy items up to 40kg on a regular basis.
• Previous experience working in a busy warehouse environment
• Ability to work at pace while maintaining attention to detail.
Person Spec:
• Japanese Language: reading, writing, speaking (Essential)
• Knowledge of Japanese products (Desirable)
• Pivot steer/ Articulate Forklift license (Desirable)
• Communication skills
• Eligible to work in the UK- YMS / working holiday visa welcome.
A two hour trial shift will be required before employment is considered
