Job Summary:
We are looking for a... highly skilled and passionate Biryani Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge and experience in preparing various regional biryanis, with a focus on flavor, presentation, and authenticity. You will be responsible for crafting top-quality biryani dishes, ensuring consistency and excellence in every dish served.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare a wide variety of biryani dishes, including Hyderabadi, Lucknowi, Kolkata, and regional variations.
• Develop and execute biryani recipes using authentic ingredients, spices, and cooking methods.
• Oversee the cooking process, ensuring precise timing, temperature control, and consistency in flavor.
• Monitor ingredient freshness and quality, ensuring all dishes meet our high standards.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to coordinate the timely preparation and service of all dishes.
• Innovate and introduce new biryani variations while maintaining classic recipes.
• Manage stock levels for biryani ingredients and assist in procurement when needed.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations in the kitchen.
• Train and mentor junior chefs in the preparation of biryani and other Indian dishes.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Proven experience as a Biryani Chef or in a similar role, specializing in biryani and Indian cuisine.
• Strong knowledge of traditional biryani recipes, spices, and cooking techniques.
• Ability to create and balance complex flavours while maintaining authenticity.
• Excellent attention to detail in terms of presentation and taste.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Familiarity with food safety and hygiene standards.

Pay: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
