Chew-On-This is a fast-growing, dynamic UK-based food and beverage Group with 6 restaurant brands spanning across UK and we are on the hunt for a Food Runner/Pass to join our team at our Singaporean cuisine restaurant in Central London!
For this position, you should preferably have a fair knowledge of Southeast Asian culture. You should be an organised and with experience working in a fast-paced restaurant and respond well under pressure.

Your Role as a Food Runner/Pass:
• Coordinate and expedite orders between the kitchen and serving staff.
• Ensure that each dish meets the restaurant’s quality standards before it is sent... out.
• Keep track of meal timing to ensure timely delivery of orders.
• Accurate and efficient delivery of food orders from the kitchen to the customers.
• Communicate any special instructions or modifications to the kitchen team.
• Monitor and manage the pass area, keeping it clean and organised.
• Assist in managing inventory of kitchen supplies and ingredients such as napkins, cutlery and condiments.
• Polishing cutlery and crockery efficiently to ensure sufficient supply during service hour.
• Support the servers by helping clear tables, refill drinks and provide additional items to customers as needed.
• Collaborate with other team members to maintain a harmonious work environment.
Requirements
• Previous experience in a similar role within a fast-paced restaurant environment is preferred.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and presentation.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
