Online School Head Teacher at Cambridge Online Education Ltd

Job Descrption
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head Teacher to lead and oversee all educational activities in our online school. The Head Teacher will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of online teaching, curriculum implementation, student engagement, and staff development. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on involvement in the day-to-day operations of the school, fostering an inclusive and innovative learning environment for students and educators.
• Duties*
1. Leadership and Management:
• Lead the online teaching team, providing mentorship and support to instructors.
• Develop and maintain school policies, procedures, and guidelines for online education.
• Ensure compliance with educational standards, accreditation, and other legal requirements.
• Foster a positive and collaborative school culture that promotes student achievement and teacher excellence.
• Manage the school’s virtual learning platforms and ensure the smooth operation of... online classes.
2. Curriculum Development and Implementation:
• Collaborate with teachers and instructional designers to design, review, and update curriculum that meets state or national standards.
• Ensure the effective integration of technology into the curriculum to support student learning.
• Oversee the implementation of differentiated learning strategies to accommodate diverse student needs.
3. Teacher Development:
• Organize professional development opportunities for teachers to enhance their online teaching skills.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations of teaching staff, providing constructive feedback and support.
• Stay current with the latest trends in online education, instructional technologies, and teaching methodologies, and disseminate this knowledge to staff.
4. Student Support and Engagement:
• Ensure the development of effective student assessment tools and strategies for tracking progress.
• Promote student-centered learning and provide strategies to engage and motivate students in a virtual environment.
• Collaborate with student support services to address academic, social, and emotional needs of students.
5. Parent and Community Engagement:
• Maintain strong communication with parents regarding student progress, school activities, and any changes to the curriculum.
• Foster a sense of community among students, parents, and staff in an online environment through events, newsletters, and virtual meetings.
6. Operational Oversight:
• Work with administrative staff to manage enrollment, student records, and other logistical aspects of the online school.
• Monitor the school budget and resources, ensuring the efficient use of school funds.
• Ensure the school meets enrollment targets and operates within budgetary guidelines.
Job Types: Full-time, Temp to perm
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: £45,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
