Salary: Competitive salary depending on experience
Job Type: Full-time
We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable English Literature Graduate to join an Excellent-rated Secondary School. We are seeking Graduates to work with us or have ambitions to teach in the future. For a full time Academic year as a Secondary School cover supervisor from September 2023.
Responsibilities:
• Delivering high-quality lessons and inspiring students with your passion for English Literature
• Developing schemes of work and lesson plans in line with the National Curriculum
• Assessing, tracking and monitoring students' progress
• Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
• Engaging with parents, carers and colleagues to ensure the best possible outcomes for students
• Contributing to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities and school... events
Requirements:
• A degree in English Literature (minimum 2:2)
• UK Teaching qualification (or in the process of obtaining one) (not essential)
• Passion for English Literature and the ability to inspire students
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility and adaptability
Experience of working in a school environment would be an advantage, but not essential.
