profile.
The ideal candidate
To be considered a
real asset for this position, you must demonstrate:
• Outstanding practice within
the teacher standards and have a strong understanding / knowledge and
experience of working with children with special needs, particularly those with
Autistic Spectrum Conditions.
• A desire to think outside
of usual educational pedagogy to find workable solutions for children that have
strong cognitive potential but require a highly personalized approach to their
education.
• High emotional intelligence
with the ability to lead a team of classroom assistants in teaching a
curriculum based around student’s motivations and interests whilst supporting
children’s emotional regulation through positive behavioral approaches.
