Expressions of Interest – STEM Teachers
INTO London is opening expressions of interest to teach STEM subjects, we are seeking to establish a pool of teachers for appointments to zero hours, fixed term, permanent, full-time and part-time positions that will arise throughout 2024.
We require qualified, enthusiastic, and experienced STEM teachers to join our teaching team on the International Foundation Year (IFY) for Science and Engineering, preparing international students for university studies. You will teach on the IFY Science and Engineering, and the IFY Medicine and Health Professions programmes, varying in intensity and class size. The teaching methods include problem-based learning, lectures, seminars, tutorials, laboratory practicals, and workshops.
Teaching is face to face, delivered from our central London Centre.
Location: INTO London, 102 Middlesex Street, London, E1 7EZ.
The laboratory sessions in Biology and Chemistry are held at the London Metropolitan University... Science Centre, which is equipped with excellent laboratory teaching facilities to supplement the teaching at the London Centre.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Science or Mathematics teacher looking to step into or continue teaching in international education to students from a variety of countries and cultural backgrounds, with different language levels. We encourage an enthusiastic, imaginative, and adaptable approach to the delivery of the curriculum area.
You will ideally have a relevant post-graduate qualification, teaching experience, and a teaching qualification. You will be able to demonstrate high standards of delivery in a consistent manner, be committed to improving achievement across all areas of your subject and understand the strategies required to accomplish this.

INTO London offers Pathway programs for international students at a range of levels from which students can progress to one of over 100 universities in the UK and Europe, from traditional subjects such as business, engineering, and law to niche programs including jewellery design, yacht design and herpetology.
The centre offers a modern learning environment, with multipurpose lecture theatres, interactive whiteboards, private study rooms, a learning resource centre and art studio.
The centre is global, having welcomed students from over 100 nationalities since 2013.
