Educational PsychologistWest Sussex County Council £38,865.00 - £57,544.00 per annum Join our dynamic team at West Sussex County Council and make a meaningful impact in our communities. As part of the SEND and Inclusion service, our Educational Psychology Service (EPS) is a key player in delivering the Local Authority's wellbeing and Special Educational Needs and Disability strategies. Based in Worthing and Horsham, the EPS oversees the Portage Service and Mental Health Support Teams in schools, where Educational Psychologists play pivotal roles.About the Role:As an Educational Psychologist, you'll provide essential services such as advice, consultation, assessment, training, research, and evaluation. Your work will be focused on children with additional needs and difficulties within an Area of the County.What You'll Need:Proven relevant experience as an Education Psychologist.Ability to work collaboratively with team members and stakeholders.Passion for improving outcomes for... children and young people in educational settings.Dedication to promoting mental health and wellbeing.Focus on delivering services with integrity, respect, and confidentiality.Job Details:Grade: Soulbury Scale A2-7, Educational Psychologist, plus up to 3 SPA points as appropriate.Directorate Group: Children, Young People & Learning.Location: Horsham or Worthing.
