Job Descrption
ARE YOU LOOKING FOR A NEW CHALLENGE OUTSIDE OF A SCHOOL ENVIRONMENT?
We are looking for a candidate who has had experience teaching in nursery or reception. We will consider candidates who have Early Years Teacher status provided they have had extensive early years’ experience - some of it in a school.
You will work alongside an experienced and enthusiastic team of experienced, qualified practitioners and will be expected to have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, plus very good organisational skills. You will be required to lead all curriculum associated learning experiences and to deliver a differentiated and exciting curriculum to meet the needs and interests of all the children.
Your key group will consist of 18 children and you will work with small groups of up to 6 children (aged 3-4) throughout the day. Part of your week will include doing a range of curricular linked administration including providing a weekly ‘closed’ Facebook page for parents... outlining the learning the children have enjoyed for that week, and which informs parents of the following weeks topics and learning intentions.
Our current teacher has set in place excellent and exceptionally organised systems for you to use, or further enhance, if you choose. There will be ample non-contact time to update the children’s trackers and journals, generate medium term and weekly planning, and to organise and lead weekly planning meetings, so your evenings and weekends will be completely free.
