Teacher Assistant, Glossop at Axcis Education

Pay: Daily rates from £93 a day
Job Type: Temporary
Hours: 08:30-16:00, Monday to Friday, Term Time only
Axcis Education is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to support primary and secondary schools in the Glossop area. You will play a crucial role in supporting students across all key stages, working 1:1, in small groups, and assisting in the classroom during lessons.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 support to students with additional needs.
- Assist in small group work to promote learning and development.
- Support class teachers during lessons to help manage the classroom and engage all learners.
- Implement strategies to support students with varying abilities, including those with SEND.
- Help maintain a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.
- May be required to support with personal care
Requirements:
- Previous UK experience working with children, ideally in an educational setting.
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for... supporting students' learning and well-being.
- UK based experience working with students with SEND is desirable but not essential.
- Child and adult enhanced DBS registered on the update service
