Education Driver
Contract Services is the in-house school catering provider for London Borough of Tower Hamlets operating in over 60 school sites.
We are seeking to employ Education Drivers to work Term Time only, for 16.25 hours per week (this equates to 39 weeks per year - pay pro rata).
As an Education Driver you are at the heart of our operation, and we are looking for individuals who share our energy and passion and will contribute to our on-going success. You will be delivering food to a variety of schools, council buildings and around the Borough. You will be part of a catering team who are committed to delivering service excellence and feeding pupils and adults healthy freshly cooked food on a daily basis.
You will primarily be responsible for the delivery of meals and equipment to the school kitchens & be responsible for a regular post delivery service to sites around the council. You will maintain the cleanliness of your van. You must ensure the correct use of all... machinery and equipment and assist as and when required with the loading or unloading of meals. You will be required to attend a 2-day induction course whereby a literacy and numeracy test will be taken.

Applicants will be required to complete a short screening and attend an information session where you will be asked to complete Literacy & Numeracy assessments. Total duration of the session will be 2.5 hours.
