Job Descrption
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Chauffeur to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting clients safely and efficiently, while also maintaining the cleanliness and condition of our vehicles. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy driving and interacting with passengers.
Duties:
- Safely transport clients to their destinations in a timely and courteous manner.
- Operate a variety of vehicles, including vans and commercial vehicles, in a safe and responsible manner.
- Maintain a clean and tidy environment within the vehicle, including cleaning up spills and disposing of trash.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip checks on the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Drive in a defensive manner and follow all traffic laws and regulations.
- Communicate effectively with clients to ensure their needs are met and they are comfortable during the journey.
- Lift and handle heavy equipment or luggage, as needed.
... Maintain records of trips, including mileage and fuel consumption.
- Perform any other duties as required by management.
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Chauffeur or delivery driver is essential.
- A commercial driving license or equivalent experience is required.
- Experience driving vans or other large vehicles is beneficial.
- Ability to lift and handle heavy equipment or luggage is necessary.
- A clean driving record and a safe driving history are essential.
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills are necessary to effectively interact with clients.
- Strong driving skills and a defensive driving attitude are required.
- Ability to maintain a clean and tidy environment within the vehicle.
- Experience with heavy lifting and handling is necessary.
- Possess a valid commercial driving license or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency with driving vans or other large vehicles.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: £13.94-£16.00 per hour
