We are looking for a talented and dedicated Quality / Technical Compliance Manager loin our team at Guildmore. The Quality / Technical Compliance Manager will lead and manage the quality compliance function within the construction business unit, ensuring all projects meet the required standards to comply with regulatory and company policies. This role is pivotal in maintaining the company’s commitment to delivering high-quality construction projects while ensuring compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the quality compliance across our live projects.
• Achieve compliance in accordance with company objectives and adherence to legislation and agreed regulatory bodies’ processes and procedures.
• Lead the regular review of company processes & procedure manuals, through the heads of department
• Responsible for the co-ordination and management of annual regulatory body external audits (ISO9001, 45001, 14001).
• Responsible for... performing all quality compliance duties in relation to ISO certifications.
• Assist the business in implementing ASITE (Common Data Environments)
• Contribute to training and development of staff including ASITE – Drawing management & Inspections
• Liaise with external bodies to be aware of changing industry requirements (Building Safety Act / Building Control)
• Oversee implementation and conduct internal operational audits in line with the company audit programme.
• Visit sites & produce reports to ensure that agreed procedures are being implemented.
• Coordinate audits with other departments to ensure that all aspects of quality assurance are being addressed.
• Review data collected during internal audits to identify any potential areas of concern.
• Develop a plan of action to correct any identified deficiencies in quality control
• Ensure suppliers and subcontractors quality control procedures are reviewed to ensure they meet our standards
• Establish and enforce policies and procedures related to quality assurance and quality control
• Ensure the organisation meets all agreed quality compliance (legislation and objectives) and that appropriate risk mitigation/control measures are in place.
• Direct and manage the preparation and agreement of site quality plan plans, ITP and quality inspection forms.
• Manage the development and preparation of the organisation’s quality compliance strategy
• Manage and carry out presentations, and quality forums to drive continued business improvement
Skills and Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or HNC in Construction desirable
• Professional certification in quality management or compliance (e.g., CQI, IRCA) is desirable.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality assurance or compliance role within the construction industry.
• In-depth knowledge of construction processes, quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001), and relevant regulations.
This position offers a competitive salary between £70,000-£80,000 plus package.
