Job Descrption
We are seeking a skilled Gold Card Plumber / Pipefitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in using hand tools and power tools, along with mechanical knowledge to maintain and assemble plumbing systems.
• Responsibilities*
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to plan pipe layouts
- Cut, thread, bend, and assemble pipes using various tools such as welding equipment
- Test plumbing systems for leaks and ensure proper functioning
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure efficient project completion
• Qualifications*
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools for plumbing work
- Knowledge of welding techniques such as stick welding and soldering
- Ability to read and understand schematics and blueprints
- Strong mechanical aptitude with basic maths skills for measurements
- Previous experience in pipefitting or... plumbing is desirable but not essential
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Temp to perm
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: £22.00-£26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 45 per week
Schedule:
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime
• Weekend availability
Work Location: In person
Expected start date: 11/09/2024
