We have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Operative to provide reactive and planned maintenance as a part of the repairs team in Homerton.
The role is based on a static site, however, you may occasionally be asked to attend other local sites. You will be provided with a pool van in order to attend these sites, when on-call and for the collection of materials as needed.
Responsibilities:
Carrying out reactive maintenance to the buildings fabric where you will get involved with changing/repairing taps, finding leaks and repairing/replacing pipes, easing and adjusting doors, adjusting door closers, lock changing, etc.
Water temperature checks and daily plant room checks
Painting and decorating
General wear and tear maintenance (filling of holes/retouching, patch plastering)
Changing lamps
Replacing sockets
Requirements:
Full UK... Driving Licence (no more than 6 points or a driving ban within the last 3 years)
City & Guilds OR NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing
Basic DBS Check
