Job Descrption
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy Man to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse range of maintenance and repair skills, enabling them to tackle various tasks efficiently. This role is essential for ensuring that properties are well-maintained and that any issues are resolved promptly. The Handy Man will work independently and as part of a team, providing high-quality service to our clients.
Duties
- Perform general maintenance and repair tasks around residential and commercial properties.
- Address plumbing issues, including fixing leaks, unclogging drains, and installing fixtures.
- Conduct electrical repairs such as changing light fixtures, replacing switches, and troubleshooting basic electrical problems.
- Carry out carpentry work including repairing doors, windows, and furniture.
- Paint surfaces as needed to maintain aesthetic appeal.
- Assist with landscaping tasks such as lawn care and garden maintenance.
- Respond promptly to service... requests from clients and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Requirements
- UK Full Driving License.
- Proven experience in general maintenance or maintenance person roles is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and painting techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot various issues effectively.
- Good physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy objects when necessary.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality workmanship.
- A valid driving licence is advantageous for travel between job sites.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients professionally.
