Interested in joining a multi-disciplinary main contractor with a secure pipeline of infrastructure projects across Greater London?This business has a people orientated culture, incredibly low staff turnover, and a solid work winning track record.They are currently recruiting for a Site Engineer to join them one of their larger projects in East London delivering a combination of build and civils works. This position is available following a promotion which demonstrates the career progression prospects on offer.As Site Engineer, you will be responsible for:
• Setting out civil engineering and building works on various sites within the company’s operating area
• Ensuring quality control requirements are met and recorded in accordance with specification
• Operating and promoting a high standard of health and safety and environment compliance
• Planning and scheduling the work and efficiently organise the site in order to meet an agreed programme of deadlines
• Attending regular meetings... with the section engineer/sub agent/agent to update on progress of works
• Supervising and monitoring the site labour force through general foreman and or supervisors, monitoring the work of any subcontractors to complete the work as per customer's satisfaction
• Overseeing quality control and safety matters on the site, and ensure that regulations are adhered to
• Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise at any time
• Overseeing the selection and requisition of materials for use in the construction / maintenance, to check whether the materials are as specified
To be successful in this position, you will:
• Hold a degree or relevant qualification in Civil Engineering
• Hold a CSCS card
• Have 1-2 years of experience in the construction industry
• Ideally have experience of using AutoCAD
On offer is a salary between 35,000 - 40,000 per annum with a generous benefits package.Interested?
