Established over 20 years ago, our client is recognised as a market leading mechanical and electrical contractor throughout the UK. With a specialism in large scale commercial office, residential and datacentres projects, experience ranges from smaller works to major projects in excess of £40M.
Key to their success is the development of good working relationships with their clients. As a result, they benefit from a large amount of repeat business. Their client base includes main contractors such as: Lend Lease, Multiplex and Mclaren. As well as delivering schemes direct to clients.
As a result of investment and improving market conditions the business has recently secured a number of key project wins. Their 2025 turnover is expected to be in the region of £250M, As a result, they are actively looking to recruit for their operational team.
Role: Senior Electrical Project Manager – London – Salary £85,000 - £100,000 (depending on experience) + £4,000 Car Allowance + Full... Travel Expenses + Pension + Healthcare + Bonus
Reporting to a Project Director the successful candidate will be responsible for managing a £8M package electrical package. The project is a complete refurbishment of an Office building in Picadilly. This is a unique offering as the building services contractor are working directly for the client.
Responsibilities:
• Handover meeting with QS/Estimator
• Technical Submittals
• Procurement
• Sub-contractor and Labour Management
• Cost Control
• Progress Reporting
• Health & Safety
• Project & Programme Implementation
• Understanding of design and drawings
• Technical & Progress Meetings
• Regular Site Inspection and Snagging
• Compilation of O&M Manuals
The ideal candidate will have:
• Experience working within the Labs, Health or Office Sector
• Experience in a project management role
• Have relationships with relevant supply chain including subcontractors and suppliers.
