Job Descrption
Seeking an experienced Highways Design Team Leader to join the Consultancy division. The role is full time, permanent and offers a competitive salary (up to £70K) and wide range of benefits.
As Highways Design Team Leader, you will help lead the development and delivery of our excellent design services. You will be delivering projects in high profile central London locations such as Leicester Square and Whitehall. You will provide technical direction, liaise with clients, contractors and other divisions such as Term Maintenance, Structures and Lighting. The duties of the Highways Design Team Leader role will include:
Managing designs and implementing highway engineering solutions
Carrying out monthly programme and financial reporting
Preparing reports, drawings, schedules, bills of quantities, cost estimates and other documents in accordance with local procedures
You will have significant experience of highway engineering and urban design within a... consultancy environment. You will be familiar with local government and private sector clients, and you will have good working knowledge of different contract types including NEC3.
