£55,000-£60,000 plus benefits
Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated Chartered/near Chartered senior structural engineer with at least 3 years' experience working on heavy civil structures. Ideally you will have maritime structures experience, but this is not vital. You will join a forward thinking and dynamic team in their London office.
As a key member of the team, your responsibilities will include:
Delivery of project reports and designs
Manage projects
Assist team and help develop their design skills
Collaborate with clients and other professionals
Use your analytical skills to develop and appraise options
Projects range in scale and include port and harbour structures, infrastructure, waterfront developments, jetties and many more. The successful candidate will have technical expertise and experience relevant to design projects and a strong desire to become involved in business development, building client relationships... and delivering schemes.
About you:
Chartered or near Chartered at senior engineer level
Strong experience of structural / infrastructure design, ideally with maritime experience
Experience of managing projects
Highly motivated and proactive team player
Able to multitask and evidence great organisational skills
Able to coach and mentor less experienced team members
Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
