Engineer - Traffic Services at Matchtech

Job Descrption
• Developing, reviewing, and designing traffic schemes under the road danger reduction programme.
• Consulting with stakeholders and delivering projects where funding has been secured through s106/278 agreements.
• Working within a team of 4 permanent engineers on various schemes to reduce road danger and support highway works for new developments.
• Collaborating with team members and other departments to achieve project goals.
• Providing technical guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and statutory duties.
• Preparing and presenting technical reports and documentation.
Job Requirements:
• Experience in designing and delivering traffic and parking projects.
• Working knowledge of highways, traffic, and transport-related legislation and practices.
• Understanding of statutory duties related to traffic engineering.
• Strong project management and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and... consultation abilities.
• Proficiency in technical report writing and documentation.
• Relevant qualification in traffic engineering or a related field.
