Job Descrption
Our client, a highly prestigious consultancy has just started looking for a Principal Bridge Engineer in their Central London office. They have a very busy order book, that spans rail, highway and local authority projects.
Reporting to the Technical Director, you’ll lead projects, mentor teams, and ensure top-notch technical quality. Assist the Technical Director with project delivery, client relations, and business development.
Project Oversight: Take the reins as the technical lead on diverse bridge and civil structural projects.
Guide teams through structural analysis, feasibility studies, design, and technical documentation.
Collaboration: Work with other bridge teams for optimal resource use and successful project outcomes.
Quality Assurance: Innovation: Promote creative solutions while adhering to health and safety standards.
Qualifications: Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
Chartered Status: MICE or MIStructE, with significant post-professional experience in... bridge engineering.
Experience: Strong knowledge of DMRB, MCDHW, or Network Rail design procedures.
Proficient in technical report writing and structural design software.
Temporary works, highway and rail projects (Network Rail/TfL).
