Kinder Nannies is looking for a top calibre, flexible 'super nanny' to start asap. The role is to care for an adorable, well- mannered little boy aged 7 years. This role pays very well, but requires a very high degree of commitment and flexibility. The employers would be your top priority - you will be paid very well.

The position is based in Belgravia and is primarily live out, so you will need to live within a short commute of Belgravia. There is frequent travel to Surrey and overseas, where excellent accommodation shall always be provided.

WorkingPattern:

Sharedcare,full-time,coveringbothweekdaysand weekends.

Schedule: Typically,sevenconsecutiveworkingdaysarefollowedbytwodays (or more)off,where feasible. During busier periods (e.g., school holidays or when the primary nanny is on maternity leave), accrued days off may need to be taken at a later time, with the aim of ensuring no more than two consecutive weeks without at least one day off.

Collaboration: The new nanny will... work alongside the family’s existing nanny, who hasbeenwiththemfor nearly 6 yearsandwillsoongoonmaternityleave.

The idea is that you will work as equals, once you have passed probation, and it will be similar to rota, but more days of work than pure rota.

Weekdays: 12pm-8/8:30pmduringtermtime.Flexibilityisrequiredtoaccommodate theparents’travel,childillness,schoolabsences,orjetlag.

Weekends:8/9am-8pm,withtheworkingdaytypicallyendingwhenthefamilyhas dinner.

Travel: While it is uncommon for the parents to travel without their child, the nanny may occasionallyflyalonewiththechildandstay1-2nightsbeforetheparentsjoin.

Holiday:

· Holidaysarearrangedaccordingtothefamily’sschedule,whichisusually confirmed around three months in advance.

Location:

· Weekdays:London(live-out,withoccasionalovernightstaysinaseparateensuite bedroom).

· Weekends:Surrey(live-in,withseparateaccommodation provided).

· School Holidays: The location may vary between London, Surrey, or abroad. During holidays, travel often includes time abroad, potentially on a yacht. The nanny will have a private bedroom and bathroom when travelling.

Responsibilities:

· Supporttheparents,whoarehands-onandexpectthenannytofollowtheirlead.

· Assistthechildwithhomeworkandoverseetheireducationaldevelopment.

· Manage the child’s wardrobe, including putting away laundry (no washing) and purchasing necessary items (toiletries, art supplies, uniforms, etc.).

· Coordinatethechild’sscheduleofclassesandappointments.

· Handlead-hoctasksanderrandsasrequired.

PreferredCandidate:

· ExperienceasatutororExteacher,ideallyinUHNWhouseholds.

· Experiencedintutoringupto11+yearsold.

· Creative and enjoys activities such as art and outdoor pursuits.

· Highlyflexibleandabletoadapttoaconstantlyevolvingschedule.

· Discreet,ideallywithexperienceinastaffedhousehold.

· Strongcommunicationskillsandagoodteamplayer.

· Afull,cleandrivinglicenseispreferred.

NotSuitableFor:

· Individuals with numerous external commitments, as the role can be demanding during certain times of the year.

· Someonewho watchesthe clock, asthe workload balancesout over theyear.

Compensation:

· Salary is dependent on experience. The candidate should be content with the overall compensation package, understanding that it includes all hours required by the role, with no additional overtime payments.

AdditionalInformation:

· The family’s current nanny, who has been with them for 5 years, will soon go on maternity leave. Until then, the new nanny will work alongside her.

· Thefamilyalsoemploysotherstaff,includingchefs,housekeepers,anda driver.

· CandidateswillberequiredtosignaNon-DisclosureAgreement(NDA).

The position pays well, for an exceptional nanny who possesses these skills, strengths and meets these criteria:
• Fluent English
• Personality – first and foremost, kind, patient and warm.
• Nanny must be very flexible, have plenty of initiative, always thinking and planning some steps ahead. A true love of and interest in working with children aged 7y+ is essential.
• Open-minded with an international outlook. Someone who enjoys travelling and has previously travelled would be helpful.
• Adhere to the high standards of cleanliness
• Absolutely trustworthy, reliable and discreet. The family’s privacy is to be maintained during and after any employment.
• Able to work well within a team as well as be responsible enough look after all of the child’s needs.
• Positive demeanour and someone who finds solutions (before anyone knows there is a problem!)
• Creative, pro-active, energetic.
• Experienced in organising activities, of teaching different skills through play. Introducing the child to new experiences and learning new things
• Interest and good understanding of early years education and development, supporting learning of the world around him, reading, writing, science, arithmetic, music, singing, physical and sporting skills and social interactions. Through carefully planned fun and interesting activities, designed to develop his skills in all areas.
• Someone with 11+ tutoring or teaching experience.

Nanny must be :

· comfortable with shared care, as the parents are hands-on although also very busy running an international business, as well as sole care (and occasional proxy parenting)

· Well mannered, with good understanding of etiquette and different cultures and knowledge of other languages would be helpful. Must be able to teach etiquette and manners to the child.
