Job Descrption
We are seeking a motivated and innovative Chemical Engineer to join our Research and Development team in London. The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in chemical processes, along with hands-on experience in the manufacturing industry. This role offers the opportunity to develop new chemical formulations and processes while optimizing existing ones to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive projects from conception through to implementation and will play a crucial role in advancing our product portfolio in the chemicals sector.
Responsibilities
• Develop and optimize chemical processes and formulations to improve efficiency and product quality.
• Conduct research and design experiments to support product development initiatives.
• Analyze experimental data using statistical tools, including MS Excel Pivot Tables, to draw conclusions and make recommendations.
• Collaborate with... team members and other departments to ensure alignment of projects with company goals.
• Document and present research findings, both in technical reports and during team meetings.
• Stay updated on industry trends, technology advancements, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide mentorship and training to junior engineers and interns as required.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• 3-6 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, preferably in a chemical environment.
• Strong understanding and experience in design of experiments (DOE).
• Proficient in MS Excel, including use of Pivot Tables for data analysis.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
