THE ROLE 📝 

As a Commercial Lawyer within Form3’s Legal Team you will play a pivotal role as a strategic business partner to the Customer Success Team. The position promises a dynamic and diverse experience, offering exciting opportunities to collaborate across departments and make a significant impact on Form3’s success.  

Here’s an overview of the key duties involved:  

  • Acting as a business partner to the Customer Success Team 
  • Reviewing, drafting, and advising on a range of commercial contracts, including NDAs, partnership agreements, SaaS agreements, master services agreements and work orders/SOWs with customers 
  • Contract management involving review, negotiation and conclusion of contracts 
  • Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial contracts with third party suppliers and providing support on the day-to-day management of commercial and contractual queries 
  • Supporting and advising the business on commercial contracts and providing commercially focused and pragmatic legal advice 
  • Assisting with the maintenance and development of internal contracts, precedents, playbooks and business processes 
  • Liaising with product development teams to ensure all new product documentation meets applicable legal requirements 
  • Advising on intellectual property queries and data protection queries 
  • Coordinating external counsel in both the UK and other jurisdictions such as within the EU and USA 

 

WE’RE LOOKING FOR  🔍 

We are looking for a dynamic, detail-orientated individual who thrives in a challenging environment and has excellent organisation skills. The skills required for the position include: 

Essential 

  • Commercial lawyer with 2 - 4 year (approx.) post qualification experience 
  • Background in either private practice or in-house
  • Experience with reviewing, drafting, negotiating, and advising various commercial contracts such as MSAs, T&Cs, statements of work and NDAs 
  • Experience working with tech, fintech, financial institutions, either in private practice or in-house  

Desirable 

  • Familiarity with outsourcing contracts or data protection law would be advantageous

The Legal Team is a close-knit and friendly group of individuals who work together harmoniously, always keeping the best interests of Form3 in mind with everything we do. We collaborate seamlessly on projects and regularly share ideas to amplify our collective impact. We meet up occasionally, but tend to work mostly remotely and have contact with each other on a daily basis. 

 

INTERVIEW PROCESS ✍️  

Stage 1: Screening Call with Talent Team

Stage 2: Interview with Legal Director, UK  

Stage 3: Interview with a member of the Customer Success Team and/or other members of the UK Legal Team 

Stage 4: Interview with Chief Legal Officer 

We always aim to stick to the above process, however there may be occasions when an additional interview stage is needed for us to be sure we’re hiring the right person!
