THE ROLE 📝  

As our Finance Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in overseeing finance operations within a fast-paced and growing organisation. Striving to refine processes as the business scales, you will work closely with senior stakeholders and external auditors to drive improvements across reconciliations, accounts, and billing. 

  • Investigate and report on variances actuals vs budget/forecast. 
  • Prepare group management accounts. 
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities  
  • Support the annual audit process, prepare the supporting documentation and respond to the external auditors' queries. 
  • Prepare reports for senior management reviews and investors helping the GFC to execute the reporting framework across the group. 
  • Drive the process and systems improvement projects, especially within NetSuite and NSPB 
  • Perform the final review on the accuracy of all postings across all ledges in the group. 
  • Work closely with the Netsuite administrator to improve the use and reporting capabilities of the ERP  

 

WE’RE LOOKING FOR  🔍  

Essential  

  • CIMA / ACA / ACCA qualified accountant 
  • Big 4 experience (trained) 
  • 2+ years post qualification experience  
  • Financial analysis experience 
  • Monthly reconciliations experience 
  • Billing / payments experience 
  • Group management accounts preparation, including intercompany accounting  
  • Excellent communicator (stakeholder engagement / management) 
  • Organised and working well to tight deadlines 

Desirable  

  • People management (leadership) experience 
  • Accounts receivable & accounts payable experience 
  • Netsuite experience 
  • Fintech /Payments / banking / SaaS experience 

  

THE TEAM 👥  

Close knit group of experienced finance professionals working predominantly in the UK, supporting a company of 500 individuals. We meet up a few times a year for social events, but tend to work mostly remotely so support via Zoom is hugely important to us - we're in contact with each other on a daily basis!

We always aim to stick to the above process, however there may be occasions when an additional interview stage is needed for us to be sure we’re hiring the right person!
