The Cisco Wireless team is in search of a Technical Marketing Engineer (TME) to enhance product management activities for our leading wireless business, capturing 50% of the enterprise wireless market share. This role focuses on both Cisco cloud managed (Meraki) and on-prem wireless solutions. As a TME, you will spearhead numerous high-visibility initiatives such as developing a winning product strategy, creating software differentiation, and formulating plans for adjacent product lines to drive the next big market disruption. You will contribute to our vision for #simplicity by integrating Wireless, security, AI, and intelligent API ecosystems. Your collaboration with various product teams will expand our large campus wireless capabilities across the Full Stack portfolio.

Skills
• Multi-functional experience in product management, software engineering, and marketing
• Deep understanding of Wi-Fi and related areas such as IT administration and technical marketing
• Familiarity with cloud technologies and software development
• Knowledge of network technologies including DHCP, DNS, and network topologies
• Ability to clearly communicate complex concepts to non-technical audiences
Responsibilities
• Create impactful technical collateral for support, sales engineers, customers, and partners
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams through design, testing, and product launch
• Manage beta and pilot programs
• Engage with customers and prospects to share our vision and understand their needs
• Advocate for partners to internal product teams to ensure alignment on mission
• Prioritize and review customer-reported bugs and critical issues, establishing plans to address them
Qualifications
• Multi-functional experience across product management, software engineering, and marketing
• Proficient in Wi-Fi technologies and related areas
• Understanding of cloud technologies and software development practices
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with diverse audiences
Education Requirements
• Degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field
Education Requirements Credential Category
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred
Experience Requirements
• Proven experience working across various functions like customer support, channel partners, and systems engineering
• Familiarity with Linux systems administration and scripting languages (Ruby, Python, JavaScript, etc.)
