What is the opportunity?
Within this role, you will trade and risk manage the Global Equity Firm book in Europe whilst ensuring we meet the best execution for our clientele, utilizing all facets of RBC Capital Market’s (CM) Equity Markets platform.
What will you do?
• Ensure liquidity targets are always met as, outlined from senior management.
• Prioritize providing competitive pricing for ETF products on behalf of RBC CM.
• Achieve profit targets via pricing of ETF products.
• Understand regulatory implications for clients and action with the appropriate team.
• Proactively identify operational risks/control deficiencies in the business.
• Coach junior members of the team.
• Review and comply with Firm Policies applicable to your business activities.
• Escalate operational risk loss events, control deficiencies and risks that you identify to your line manager and the relevant risk and control functions promptly. Failure to do so may subject you to... disciplinary action, up to and including termination.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
• Educated to Undergraduate degree or MBA level in finance, economics, engineering, or mathematics and/or relevant trading experience.
• Solid understanding of ETF and Capital Markets.
• Can code/script in VBA, Python, Q and/or SQL.
• Revenue/business growth mind-set and effective client management.
• Certified person.
Nice-to-have
• Self-motivated, innovative and adaptable approach.
