The Position
You will join our Next-Gen Consumer Investment Banking team and gain broad experience working across a variety of projects and initiatives within various Consumer subsectors as well as gain exposure to other Bryan Garnier key verticals such... as Energy Transition & Sustainability, Industrial Tech and Software & Fintech, amongst others. This role will be based in London where you will join a dynamic and growing office of 20 people with a friendly and collegiate atmosphere.
Responsibilities
Our lean team structure allows our junior team members to enjoy a strong learning curve and assume high levels of responsibility. You will assist our team members in their daily tasks that will include, amongst others:
• Supporting the team in client pitch preparation and transaction execution
• Carrying out company and industry analysis and preparing company profiles across various Next Gen Consumer sector verticals
• Carrying out analysis of industry trends in M&A and fundraising activity
• Company valuations using market multiples, M&A multiples and DCF analysis
Requirements
• A strong interest in Consumer
• Bachelor’s graduate (you will have already graduated from your Bachelor’s degree at least)
• An outstanding academic track record from a top-tier university with a strong finance focus (e.g. Economics)
• Previously completed an M&A/investment banking internship of at least 3 months
• Strong analytical skills, high motivation, commitment and ability to think broadly about a range of strategic issues confronting the firm’s clients
• Excellent grasp of corporate finance, valuation, and financial accounting
• Excellent command of Excel and PowerPoint
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously under tight deadlines
• Fluent English speaker
