Job Descrption
Our client, a leading global financial institution with offices across Europe, Asia and the US are looking to hire an Associate to join their M&A Advisory team, with a focus on Energy, Renewables, Oil & Gas, Utilities, and Energy Infrastructure.
The successful candidate will be an A2 or A3 level professional who is ready to engage with clients from day one, with aspirations to grow into a future leader within the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support the larger transaction team by developing marketing materials, financial models, and conducting analysis.
• Oversee pitch and valuation work, managing junior team members where relevant.
• Assist senior bankers with transaction structuring, process management, and executing deals.
• Conduct financial analysis, cash flow modelling, business valuations, and/or credit analysis as part of marketing and deal execution activities.
• Represent the client at site visits, management presentations, and client meetings, while building... relationships with market counterparts.
• Stay updated on client activities, market trends, and relevant debt and equity products.
Candidate Requirements:
• Education: Minimum 2:1 degree.
• Experience: 4-6 years of M&A experience, with specific knowledge in the Energy sector (Renewables, Oil & Gas, Utilities, Energy Infrastructure).
• Skills:
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Desirable: Proficiency in an additional European language.
