Kraus Hamdani Aerospace (KHA) is an aerospace company specializing in long-endurance unmanned aerial platforms for a wide variety of industries. KHA supports a number of customers to carry out missions involving aerial reconnaissance, survey, communication relay and communications provisioning. Endurance, enabled by effective design, is key to these applications and KHA aircraft utilize cutting-edge aircraft design together with on-board intelligence to deliver value for these customers.

KHA is looking to grow the design and analysis team in central Scotland to support development of two long-endurance aircraft. KHA will consider candidates with a range of experience levels. The responsibilities of the Aerospace Engineer will include a wide range of design and analysis tasks related to the development of advanced UAV platforms.
• Working with internal and external customers to define requirements and constraints
• Trade-space and conceptual level studies for current and future... products
• Down-selecting technologies and conducting design activities
• Working to select and manage suppliers for various subsystems
• Supporting integration and testing activities
• Manage in-service performance and diagnose failures.
• The successful candidate will have a degree in Aerospace Engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience.

They will have a commitment to excellence and continuous improvement as well as a flexible approach, the ability to adapt and to contribute within a rapidly growing and dynamic organisation. Experience in any of the following fields is desirable
• Aircraft design
• Systems engineering
• Aerodynamics and structures
• Systems testing and commissioning
• Operating or working on UAVs
• Support of in-service systems
• Airworthiness and certification standards
