Mobile Application Developer - Android at Zavaitar Limited

Job Descrption
As an Android Mobile App Developer at Zavaitar Limited, you will be responsible for developing innovative mobile applications for the Android platform. You'll work closely with designers and product managers to create seamless and user-friendly apps, ensuring performance, reliability, and maintainability. You’ll also implement best practices in coding and testing for robust software delivery.
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
• Strong understanding of Android SDK and Android Studio.
• Proficiency in Java and Kotlin programming languages.
Skills
• Proficiency in Java and Kotlin programming languages.
• Experience with Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and connecting Android apps to back-end services.
• Familiarity with Google Play Store submission and publishing process.
• Experience with mobile app architecture patterns... (MVC, MVP, MVVM).
• Understanding of mobile security best practices.
• Familiarity with Git version control.
• Experience working with third-party libraries and APIs.
• Knowledge of push notifications and cloud messaging.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Experience
• 3+ years of experience in Android app development.
• Experience with cross-platform frameworks like Flutter or React Native is a plus.
• Proven track record of deploying apps to Google Play Store.
• Experience in building scalable and performant mobile apps.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Experience with testing and debugging Android apps.
• Knowledge of app monetisation strategies like in-app purchases and ads.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Design and develop Android mobile applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define app features and functionality.
• Ensure app performance, quality, and responsiveness.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications.
• Maintain and update apps on Google Play Store.
• Integrate third-party APIs and libraries into the application.
• Perform unit testing, code reviews, and optimization.
• Stay updated with Android development trends and best practices.
• Provide support and maintenance for existing applications.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £51,000.00 per year
