As a Junior Architect, you will have the exciting opportunity to work with our dynamic team, contributing to the creation of innovative and sustainable architectural designs for our clients in London and Surrey.
Job Description:
As a Junior Architect at The Paragon, your primary responsibility will be assisting our architectural team in the design and planning of home improvement projects. You will work collaboratively with senior architects and designers, translating client requirements into creative and functional architectural designs. This role requires a talented and motivated individual who is passionate about architecture and sustainability.
Responsibilities:
• Draft and revise comprehensive... construction documents, including plans, specifications, and construction drawings.
• Collaborate with the architectural team to develop innovative and sustainable design solutions for home improvement and glazing projects.
• Review and analyse project costs to ensure adherence to budget constraints.
• Work closely with clients to understand their project needs and create customized design proposals.
• Coordinate with our design and production teams to prepare detailed architectural drawings for our clients.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure efficient planning and execution of projects.
• Stay updated with industry trends, building codes, and regulations to ensure compliance with standards.
• Contribute to the development of sustainable design strategies and environmentally friendly building practices.
Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field from an accredited college or university (preferred), or at least five years of experience in the field of Architecture (preferred).
• Prior experience in the field of Architecture, including the drafting and revision of construction documents and specifications.
• Familiarity with construction management principles is preferred.
• Knowledge of interior design concepts is advantageous.
Requirements:
• Proficiency in architectural software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar.
• Strong design and visualization skills to effectively communicate architectural ideas.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate architectural drawings.
• Passion for architecture and a keen interest in promoting environmental sustainability.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work and commute in London and Surrey.
