Job Summary:
We are seeking an enthusiastic Receptionist & Animal Care Assistant to join our team in providing excellent care for animals. The role involves supporting the veterinary and laboratory teams in ensuring the well-being of animals under our care.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
• Answer and triage phone calls and emails from clients
• Schedule appointments and procedures
• Identify and work compassionately with clients in various emotional states
• Client call backs
• Preparing prescriptions
• Monitoring hospitalised pets
• Assist in cleaning the hospital including but not limited to: keeping reception desk area and lobby clean and sanitary, taking out the general waste and recycling, laundry, cleaning floors, bathrooms, exam rooms, kitchen and kennels as required.
• Process payment and deposit transactions
• Maintain proper documentation in the electronic medical record
• Relay appropriate information between clients, doctors and management
• Computer skills: Able... to use Windows and Mac based computer systems, word processing, email, web search and other skills.
• Help to promote our Healthcare Plan so that pets are receiving premium discounted preventative treatment
You will:

• have good experience of veterinary nursing

• have a systematic approach when making decisions and be able to carry out the role effectively with planning and organisation.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £19,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
