About the role
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven HR professional with proven HR Business Partnering experience for this role, in which you'll partner with stakeholders in the Faculty of Medicine. This is a varied and rewarding role which will provide you with the opportunity to support the people agenda for the Faculty working with stakeholders from across the Faculty within a medical context, to solve complex challenges and assist with people related projects.
What you would be doing
Your key duties will include:
• Working collaboratively with key stakeholders to add value and operationalise strategic people objectives and decisions
• Supporting the implementation of initiatives and activities; advising, coaching and partnering with managers throughout the employment lifecycle
• Providing an organised, timely and proactive service; utilising business intelligence and insights to be evidence-based, analytical skills and excellent communication skills.
• Acting as the... bridge between the client group and the Centres of Expertise within HR
• Line managing, coaching and development of staff
What we are looking for
To do this role, you'll need to have significant experience as an HR Business Partner in a large and complex organisation, within a medical / NHS related field. You'll also possess the following:
• CIPD level 5 or equivalent qualification
• Strong in-depth knowledge of HR policies, practices and procedures
• Ability to influence at a senior level
• Up to date and in-depth knowledge and practical application of a range of employment law e.g. employee relations, equality issues and TUPE
• Knowledge of workforce planning, succession planning and talent management and how they can be effectively implemented
• Experience of developing and implementing people plans and/or HR solutions and is able to demonstrate the added value
• Experience of improving engagement and retention of people
• Experience of implementing successful EDI approaches/strategies
