One of London’s leading multi-disciplinary architecture and design practice is looking for a new BIM Manager to join their tech-savy team in London. Known for their complex and large projects, this practice is a hub of innovation and technology.
Job Description For This BIM Manager Role
• Lead the implementation of BIM processes on projects, ensuring consistency and adherence to established standards
• Collaborate with project teams to define BIM requirements and deliverables for each project
• Conduct regular audits of BIM models to ensure data integrity and compliance with standards
• Facilitate coordination meetings to resolve clashes and promote seamless collaboration among various disciplines
• Provide technical support to project teams, addressing and troubleshooting BIM-related issues
• Stay updated on industry trends, advancements, and best practices in BIM
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of the organization’s BIM standards... and procedures
• Ensure alignment of BIM practices across all project teams to maintain consistency
• Monitor project progress to ensure that BIM deliverables meet the established quality benchmarks
• Act as a key point of contact for BIM-related inquiries and guidance within the organisation
Skills Necessary for this BIM Manager Role
• Previous experience as a BIM Manager preferable
• Proficiency in Revit
• Strong understanding of clash detection methodologies and best practices
• Experience creating Revit libraries and families
