As a future Investment Manager, Impact Investing, you will report to Head of Climate PE Transactions, and you will be part of AXA IM Alts – Natural Capital & Impact Investing.

We are seeking an Investment Manager for our Impact Investing team. This individual will be responsible for:
• Transaction modelling, execution and monitoring
• Contribute to the origination; assessment and underwriting of private equity transactions
• Build relationships with investors, market participants, advisors and target companies to access deal flow and establish an investment universe
N.B. This is not an entry level or graduate position, we are... looking for experienced investment professionals
Your role and accountabilities will include:
• Deal Execution / Management
• Investment analysis and financial modelling per company / project
• Support execution on direct private equity investments across the impact platform with a focus on Climate private equity transactions
• Present investment opportunities to investment committees and clients
• Monitoring post-investment
• Pipeline
• Create a network to source and access proprietary deals
• Screen and rank the pipeline to prioritise
• Build top-down sector mapping with deep dive into priority sectors to establish an investment universe
• Impact Investing Team
• Support the team in sourcing, meeting management, database maintenance, analysis and investment recommendations
• Monitor and report on the financial and impact performance and risk profile of existing portfolio investments
• Build valuation models and lead discussions with risk committee and auditors to execute a solid valuation process
• External Stakeholder Management
• Interface with third party service providers relating to due diligence and deal execution
• Internal Stakeholder Management
• Liaise with all internal stakeholders including risk, compliance, legal, operations, audit and build effective working relationships and processes to ensure efficient execution
• Project Management
• Participate in co-ordinating projects in the impact investing team including new product development; process improvement; system implementation
• Extract impact data from transactions and build a methodology to report

Your qualifications and experience:
• Experience investing across an array of private market assets
• Strong expertise in building sophisticated financial models and valuation techniques
• Track record of assessing private equity deals from sourcing and structuring through to execution
• Post-investment monitoring and management of positions
• Demonstrate expertise in impact investing and related market sectors / themes with a preference for Climate equity market experience
• Ability to bring new ideas to the investment process
• Entrepreneurial attitude and highly motivated individual
• Ability to work well alongside team members in a fast-paced team environment, including with colleagues and counterparties based in different regional offices
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills supporting robust written and oral presentations
• Self-starter with the ability to work to deadlines and manage multiple projects effectively
• Highly numerical and analytical
• Experience in private equity and relevant University degree
