Overview
We are seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, managing accounts, and supporting the financial operations of the organisation. The individual would also assist with basic company and project administration.
Duties
- Record day-to-day financial transactions
- Maintain accurate ledgers and journals
- Process accounts payable and receivable
- Reconcile bank transactions on Xero
- Prepare financial reports
- Assist with payroll processing
- Utilise accounting software Xero
- Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns
- Prepare and submit CIS returns
- Assist with general project and company administration
Requirements
- Proficiency in accounting software
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software
- Experience with Xero is essential
- Familiarity with accounts payable and receivable processes
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

Potential for flexible working for the right candidate although working from the office will be required generally.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Freelance
Pay: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
Schedule:
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

• bookkeeping: 5 years (preferred)
