Strategy&
PwC’s Strategy& team is a market-leading consulting practice with around 400 consultants in London, supported by the extensive expertise and global reach of PwC and Strategy& networks.
We offer diverse and challenging assignments, working with a wide range of UK, European, and global clients, including large consumer goods companies, online retailers, start-ups, FinTechs, charities, government departments, and the public sector. We also work with investors like private equity and investment funds. Our projects address key CEO questions on growth strategy, market entry, mergers and acquisitions, and value creation. We evaluate each company’s unique market position... identifying opportunities for growth and areas of risk.
What you'll do
As an Associate, you'll be a cornerstone of our team, actively engaging in client projects from day one. You'll apply commercial awareness, analytical, and interpersonal skills in your daily tasks. Over time, you'll gain the confidence and credibility to present your insights to clients and senior stakeholders.
Typical Responsibilities:
- Building hypotheses and collaborating to address client questions
- Identifying data sources, collecting, interpreting, and analyzing data
- Conducting interviews and deriving insights from qualitative inputs
- Presenting findings to team members, clients, and senior stakeholders
- Participating in team events, industry-specific lunch-and-learns, and pipeline meetings
You'll join one of our two market-leading teams: Strategy& Deals or Corporate Strategy.
- Strategy& Deals: Works with corporate clients and investors on transaction-related projects (e.g., commercial due diligence, pre- and post-deal value creation) and broader strategy development (e.g., market entry, sustainability strategy).
- Corporate Strategy: Collaborates with leading corporate clients and governments to develop custom business strategies addressing challenges like market entry, growth strategy, and target operating models.

Requirements:
- to have achieved or be on track to pass an undergraduate degree or above in any subject. We determine whether you're on course to pass based on the grades you achieved in your last completed year of academic study. Whilst we welcome applications from all candidates who are on track to pass an undergraduate degree, for this particular role, academic achievements will be considered in more depth as part of the screening process.
- relevant experience and extracurricular activities that demonstrate your transferable skills to consulting (e.g., leadership, problem solving, teamwork, organisational skills, communication skills)
- prior work experience, full time or part time, is desirable but not essential
- given the nature of this role and our client work, we will not only assess candidates on their English language skills, but it is also desirable (but not essential) for candidates to speak a major European language to a business fluent level.

Assessment centres for this role will take place between 25 November - 6 December 2024. We expect to be able to give you at least a week's notice to attend.
