We are seeking a Senior Manager to join our Risk and Resilience team in Macro Risk Services to focus on Enterprise Risk Management. If you would like to work with the senior management teams of some of the UK’s leading non-financial services companies, have strong problem solving skills, intellectual agility and can build deep and productive relationships, our practice could be the right opportunity for you.
What your days will look like:
You’ll work across a diverse range of well-known clients and have the opportunity to build experience designing and implementing risk management frameworks to help Boards identify, assess and manage the most significant risks in their organisation.
If you’re successful you’ll undertake client work which includes for example:
• Managing and delivering assignments, both independently and as part of a team
• Developing and managing client relationships and identifying new opportunities
• Creating customised risk management and... resilience frameworks and processes
• Conducting risk identification interviews and facilitating executive-level risk assessment workshops
• Designing risk reporting templates, dashboards, and key risk indicator suites
• Performing risk analytics, delivering risk management training, and providing ongoing risk monitoring support
This role is for you if:
We're looking for motivated, passionate and enthusiastic individuals who will relish the opportunity to work in a growing team, with a portfolio of varied assignments and with significant possibilities to progress within the firm. The successful applicant will have practical experience, ideally gained within a large consultancy or client organisation, of conducting some or all of the following activities:
• Highly confident and resilient, able to assert yourself with senior clients (Executive and Board level)
• Strong technical risk management knowledge with experience in developing and implementing practical risk management processes in non-FS businesses
• Excellent presentation skills with experience in planning and facilitating workshops/risk exercises for senior audiences
• Solid financial and commercial acumen with an understanding of corporate governance requirements
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, capable of building trust and rapport with diverse stakeholders
• Proven team management skills, including coaching junior resources and managing multiple simultaneous projects
