Primary Responsibilities
In the role of the Regional BES Business Group... Director, we'll count on you to:
• Develop, implement and maintain an effective regional business group program, including business development strategies, new business pursuits, monitor staffing levels, foster technical/specialty services, quality assurance program, production methods and standards, all within established goals and objectives of the company and business group. Drive Business Group Coordinator process.
• Work cooperatively with other Regional Business Group Directors, Regional Operations Directors, Area Managers and Market Sector Directors to drive Business Group strategies in BES BG and support for other BGs, drive BES P&L performance, and support other initiatives in the Region.
• Participate in BES BG Senior Leadership meetings.
• Participate in all Matrix of Approval (MOA) functions and responsibilities defined by the RBGD role.
• Mentor Area Business Group Managers and key personnel.
• Work closely with ABGM’s (postings/hires/terminations/forecasts/workshare/etc.).
• Address RDO/Area Manager operational inquiries (UT issues, project losses, claims).
• Assist and review risk management plans for project.
• Participate in Alternative Delivery risk reviews.
• Participate in project reviews for at-risk / critical projects (QMS).
• Assist in the identification and prioritization of regional strategic hires and in the recruiting of new candidates.
• Review marketing forecasts (SNB and Booked) and staff alignment with backlog.
• Responsibilities for the annual planning process (alignment meetings and budgeting).
• Add strong business skillset as the regional BG point of interface with Operations.
• Committed to quality, improvement and HDR values.
• * Perform other duties as needed.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in a Professional, Architecture, Engineering or closely related field.
• Minimum 12 years' experience in related field is preferred.
• Maintains a professional or Engineering registration and has related technical experience.
• Demonstrated experience with leading diverse teams.
• Ability to work cooperatively with regional managers, area managers, market sector directors, and business development teams.
• Position requires that applicant resides within the region or willing to relocate to an Area within the region
• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Regional Business Group teams and key Clients in the region.
• Technical background and demonstrated expertise within the BES BG.
