Fund Accountant - Assistant Manager at twentyAI

Job Descrption
• Performing accounting and fund administration for the Eight Roads' venture capital funds investing in Europe and investments made into third party funds.
• Responsible for month end accounting and reporting process which includes the reconciliation of investment and cash transactions.
• Production of quarterly investor reports, General Partner board reporting, and annual fund financial statements.
• Preparation of carried interest calculations.
• Preparation of distribution and call notices and associated calculations.
• Responsible for managing the capital call process which includes the review of relevant investment approval memorandums and agreements, and the coordination with respective teams to execute the investment funding.
• Assisting with the annual tax returns for the funds and relevant Partners, across different jurisdictions, and liaising with our tax advisors directly to close queries.
• Working closely with venture capital teams, treasury, legal... and tax departments to support investment transaction processing and cash management.
• Assist with other group controlling activities and ad-hoc projects as required.
• Assisting the group audit and local fund audits, liaising with and providing assistance to external auditors.
Experience required:
• An ACA, CA or equivalent accounting designation.
• Practical experience with investment companies and complex partnership structures preferably within US GAAP.
• Knowledge of fund structures and its implication in accounting under US GAAP.
• Experience of preparation of financial statements, preferably under US GAAP.
• Experience with investment performance calculation and presentation, including attribution analysis is desirable.
• Experience in an international multi-currency environment
