About the team:
The Prime Services business provide global execution, clearing and financing solutions to a wide range of customers across multiple regions and asset classes.
The GBTO teams provide the operational and IT support services to the global business covering activities such as client... lifecycle management, global execution services, trade settlement and clearing, reconciliations, collateral management, payments, risk management and fees. Main processing hubs are in London, Chicago, Bangalore and Chennai, and a smaller presence in Paris and Asia.
Summary of Key Purposes of the Role:
The primary objectives of the role are:
- To assist the Chief of Staff of GBTO Prime Services & Clearing (GBTO/EQD/PSC) with the financial steering of the 4 clusters within this group, by improving and running the budget control framework.
- PMO for the PSC Transformation programme.
In addition, there may be opportunities to assist the Chief of Staff with some of his other responsibilities such as:
- Process performance & optimization.
- Cluster events & communication.
Responsibilities:
· Manage financial reporting and monthly monitoring at global, regional and cluster levels.
· Monthly monitoring of the workforce and non-workforce budgets of the clusters, in collaboration with the global EQD Chief of Staff, the regional COO teams, and the Finance teams.
· Creation and communication of the monthly financial monitoring reports.
· Build the annual budget.
· PMO for the PSC Transformation programme.
· Monitoring of time-tracking.
· Assist with process improvements activities.
· Arrange events, produce communications for the cluster.
Profile required
· Role requires someone able to work autonomously, but with very close alignment with the UK COO team.
· Graduate with a minimum 2:1
· Excellent knowledge of Excel. Good working knowledge of the MS Office suite of applications.
· The ability to assimilate knowledge quickly, an inquiring mind and an eye for detail, a sense of responsibility coupled with a sense of urgency.
· Good communication skills, teamwork, initiative, and analytical skills.
· Knowledge of a BI package or collaboration tools is a plus (e.g., Power BI, TEAMS).
