Reports To: Operations Manager
Location: Dubai
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities:
• Design Integration: Collaborate with architects and engineers to integrate MEP systems seamlessly into the interior design.
• Space Planning: Create layouts that optimize space while accommodating MEP requirements, ensuring functionality and aesthetics.
• System Coordination: Coordinate MEP installations with other trades to prevent conflicts and ensure efficient workflow during renovations.
• Material Selection: Choose materials and finishes that are not only visually appealing but also compatible with MEP systems.
• Compliance: Ensure that designs meet local building codes, safety regulations, and sustainability standards.
• Budget Management: Assist in developing project budgets, ensuring that MEP solutions are cost-effective while meeting design goals.
• Documentation: Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and... reports for MEP systems, ensuring clarity for contractors and stakeholders.
• Client Consultation: Work closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences, providing expert advice on MEP-related design elements.
• Project Oversight: Monitor installation and renovation processes to ensure adherence to design intent and quality standards.
• Troubleshooting: Address any issues that arise during construction or installation related to MEP systems and make necessary adjustments
Requirements:
• Proven experience in interior design with a focus on MEP systems, preferably in renovation projects.
• Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and best practices.
• Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp) for creating detailed drawings and models.
• Understanding of MEP systems and their integration into interior spaces.
