This role will be responsible for managing multiple workstreams (PMO) within an overall UK transformation program, partnering with multiple stakeholders in both the BU and Sector.
The optimal candidate will have experience of leading a major change agenda within one or more functions, experience of managing a PMO (or similar) team and will have a good understanding of Digital.
Responsibilities
• Support Sales Transformation lead on delivering large scale transformation project:
• General PMO Support.
• Lead and facilitate of Leadership integration sessions with Capability centre.
• Manage and update business case.
• Work with Change team on long term integration of new structure.
• Work closely with Transition team to track transition progress & share scorecard with stakeholders.
• Support new Ways of working between UK and Capability centre team.
Key member of the Digital transformation project team, helping to shape and deliver the digital strategy for the UK:
• Create project charters and business cases.
• Lead roll out of key Digital initiatives from PMO perspective.
• Report back on process to exec level stakeholders.
• Finding further initiatives to support business growth.
• Create and maintain business project management deliverables for the projects including workplans, key decision gate documents, project timeline, project charter, risk/issues.
Provide Project Management excellence within the multi-disciplined teams. Coach and mentor project teams.Lead or support other initiatives across the organization as directed by UK BU Strategy & Transformation VP and aligned by UK BU GM/UK Exe.Partner with Sector Transformation Team to implement Sector wide/Corporation wide initiatives as per Sector/Corporate established agendas.
Qualifications
• Strategic mindset and highly analytical thinker with very close attention to detail.
• Ability to manage ambiguity, and a dynamic environment whilst ensuring progress and project delivery.
• Experience leading large scale transformation projects, ideally within an consultancy environment or in-house transformation team.
• Experience of working on Digital strategy or implementation would be a preference.
• Strategic Problem Solving: Results-oriented strategic thinker who demonstrates a bias for action with a can-do approach to work and excellent project management skills.
• Excellent analytical skills. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Influence & Communication: Ability to communicate, collaborate, and influence effectively at all levels of the BU & Sector organization and drive business decisions.
• Outstanding Project Management: Ability to lead a broad and changing agenda autonomously with strong prioritisation skills – requires working in a highly-matrixed organization, handling competing priorities and connecting the dots across multiple large-scale initiatives that have interconnecting impact across functions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills (ability to create presentations and present in a clear and succinct manner to senior audiences).
• Ability to excel in an agile, collaborative, ambiguous environment demonstrating strong people skills, flexibility and willingness to take on diverse tasks.
